Dear Parents and Students,

My sisters, April Munier (7th grade Lang. Arts -SFMS teacher), Melissa Sims (1st grade teacher-Hattiesburg, Ms) and myself are joining in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. Our mother, Janet Hayman, was diagnosed with an early on-set form of this disease a little more than 8 years ago. She will be 59 years old on Oct. 2, 2008. My mom was a 1st grade/Kindergarten teacher for about 30 years. She has meant so much to so many! She has meant and still means so much to us!

We want to help find a cure for this disease. If you are able, join us on November 1, 2008 at Autozone park for the Annual Memory Walk. Click on the link at the bottom of the page -right hand side (We’re on the MOVE) to join our team (Team Janet Hayman) or to make a donation. I would love for my students and their families to join us if you can- We can make the difference!

Sincerely, Amanda Norton
